Garfield is a compact, walk-in pizzeria on Lygon Street in Carlton - built for quick dinners, late glasses of wine and everything in between.
We’re inspired by the great pizzerias of Naples and Rome, and by Tokyo’s precision and playful approach to flavour. At Garfield, tradition matters. So does having fun.
Our dough is hand-stretched and cooked in a Marana wood-fired oven imported from Italy. The result is light, airy and crisp - blistered with intention, balanced with crunch.
The menu is concise: ten pizzas, five red and five white. Some are classics. Others are unexpected. The Garfield - our signature - is inspired by lasagne, layered with Italian meatballs, basil, parmesan, tomato and béchamel.
We keep things simple beyond pizza. A short list of natural wines from local producers and thoughtful imports. Aperitivo-leaning cocktails. Draught beer. A rotating soft-serve made by our neighbours at Pidapipó.
We’re built for takeaway as much as dine-in. Pizza to go, soft-serve in hand, made to be eaten often.
